The “Drama Class” exhibition is on view at the Cu29 Gallery in Plovdiv

On August 7 at 7 p.m., the solo exhibition by Vulko Chobanov, Marina Genova, and Tsvetomira Borisova, titled “Drama Class,” opens at the Cu29 Gallery in Plovdiv. The exhibition will be on view through September 2 at 24 Hristo Dyukmedzhiev Street in the Kapana neighborhood of Plovdiv.

The exhibition “Miss Democracy (Not Politics!)” is on display in Varna

The project by Raina Teneva and Aaron Roth is a video installation that looks back at the 1990s—the beginning of Bulgaria’s transition—and the role of women in that period. The curator is Galina Dimitrova. The opening is on July 25, 2024, in the “Georgi Velchev Atelier” exhibition hall at the Georgi Velchev Art Museum.

Two parallel solo exhibitions by young Bulgarian digital artists will open on June 17 at the Depo and Harta galleries in Sofia

On June 17 at 6 p.m. in Sofia, parallel solo exhibitions by Raina Teneva and Aaron Roth will open at Depoo Gallery, and by Vulko Chobanov, Marina Genova, and Tsvetomira Borisova at Harta Gallery. The project by the Teneva & Roth duo, titled “Miss Democracy (Not Politics!)”, and the collaboration by Chobanov, Genova, and Borisova, titled “Drama Class”, will be on view through June 30. The projects are the result of their work as fellows of the “DA LAB” Foundation’s digital arts platform, e-valuation 4.0.

DA LAB is presenting, for the first time in Varna, an exhibition featuring selected works by scholarship recipients from the ✨e-valuation✨ platform, which supports young digital artists. The selection includes three projects realized in this year’s edition of e-valuation 3.0, along with three additional works from previous editions, as well as pieces by the project’s mentors—digital artists Venenlin Shurelov and Antoni Raizhekov.
